Technology Solutions Business Policies
We are pleased that you are interested in learning more about Technical Solutions and how we can assist you with your computer technology needs. In order to protect all parties involved, we have created a document of mutual understanding. The purpose of this document is to set forth the terms of our professional services.

SECTION ONE:  PROVIDER / CLIENT RELATIONS
A. What You Can Expect from Technical Solutions.
  1. Provide professional consultation, systems analysis, systems integration, implementation, network administration, network engineering, system administration, and WAN administration services.

  2. Act as an OEM and VAR of workstations and servers.

  3. Have course and field trained staff with shared diverse expertise.

  4. Provide progress information on ongoing projects.

  5. Have an understanding of business and business needs pertaining to the use of information technology.

  6. Advice on obtaining a good investment for your dollar (ROI).

  7. Provide design and implementation services that range from the connection in the wall to firewalls. For a detailed list refer to the Areas of Expertise page.

  8. Make efforts to advise our clients of technologies that fit their business environment.

  9. Make recommendations that reflect the current state of information technology with consideration of your future business needs and the future direction of technology. Please understand that technology is ever changing.

  10. Support your existing information technology environment.

  11. Provide suggestions and services pertaining to proactive maintenance procedures to maximize technological up time.

B. Items of Mutual Understanding.
  1. Technical Solutions tries to avoid "bleeding edge technology". As a general policy, we recommend waiting at least three to six months after a new product is introduced to the market. Something may be the "latest and greatest", but it may have defects that could impact your business.

  2. Product stability and compatibility can be complicated and sometimes unpredictable, things may go wrong, even for the most experienced and trained professionals. Please understand that this may happen and it is nothing we can forecast. Technical Solutions will always act in good faith to resolve such issues.

  3. We respect that the equipment and software are the property of the client, however it is in your best interest that we request clients not tamper with the equipment and/or software without permission or consultation of a Technical Solutions Professional Technology Provider while in the midst of a project or service. Tampering with equipment and/or software can more than double the labor spent on a project or service. If complications develop from any tampering with equipment and/or software as stated above, the client will assume full responsibility.

  4. We would like our clients to be aware that we cannot be held responsible for equipment not purchased through Technical Solutions. We are always willing to service and troubleshoot network equipment, servers, workstations, and software, however we cannot be liable for non-Technical Solutions machines, equipment, and software that carry specific IHV and ISV warranties.

  5. Technical Solutions cannot be held responsible for actions taken by the IHVs and ISVs such as discontinued merchandise and dropped prices for equipment already purchased. We strive to work with and recommend vendors that we have had success with in the past, however we do not have control over their quality of service. Their actions may impact your business and the work we are contracted to perform.

  6. Technical Solutions makes no warranty whatsoever with respect to software included in any products sold and/or serviced by Technical Solutions, and all software is sold and/or serviced "as is" and "with all faults".
